In this doujinshi, Rei is obedient and servile. Bet you didn’t see that one coming! Still, I guess that’s her role. Rei is servile, Asuka is tsundere. In the gap between the original Eva and Rebuild yandere was invented, so they shoe-horned Mari in to cover that role. I’m just wondering what personality type we’ll see introduced next to cover a perceived need in the Eva fanboy market.
Note: I’m part of said Eva fanboy market, my stack of Eva doujins is about as big as all my other doujins put together. But at heart I’m an Asuka man, so I’m well covered already.
