Edit With LWB

Little White Butterflies is a translation group for Japanese doujinshi. We mostly work on hentai, but do a few non-H things on our sister blog, Little Black Butterflies. We also have Team Vanilla, a group that specializes in “vanilla” hentai, and Short Wharf, which specializes in yaoi and trap.

This chart explains how we work. We’re proud of being a loose organization of self-directed people: we don’t have assigned projects, or set deadlines or quotas. The only rules are “Don’t be a dick”, “don’t leak scripts/raws”, and “don’t vanish for months after claiming a project”.

If you’re from another scanlation group and want to collaborate, just sign up on the forum and post a link to your blog in Recruiting. If you’re a translator, see [This Page].

Guest Projects
If you want to join the group or just want to edit a project with us, check out this Trello board of available projects here (you’ll need an e-hentai account to visit most of the galleries). If you see something you like or have questions, sign up on the forum or visit our chat room. If you have a Trello account (or sign in with gmail) you can comment on the card to claim it.
Because this is adult content, you do have to be 18 or older to work with us.

Beginner Projects
If you’ve never edited but want to learn, we can help you (soon)! Try our [Editing Walkthrough Bundle], which has sample pages, example PSDs, and a [step by step guide] (coming soon). When you’re finished, post a download link in a comment to see how you did! After that, you can try out your new skills on an easy project.

Say which project you’d like to try by commenting, then reply to that comment and post a mediafire/dropbox/whatever link to the file when you’ve finished. Please include your PSDs.
Don’t worry if your comment doesn’t appear right away.

Do it. Do it! It’s not like it has consumed several previous editors whole or anything. Good ruck!

Um, I hope I’m doing this right as there’s only 5 comments here and I couldn’t find anything in regards to translations (the only subforum I have access to is the recruitment one), but is there any place I can get feedback on in regards to my translations/edits ><? A couple of LWB members have suggested I apply, but I'm not too confident yet and I'm a bit neurotic about the whole process.

Just do it. If it doesn’t work out, nothing lost. I joined when I had zero experience and it was fun.

Nash vanished a while ago, sadly. Did you know him?
I just saw your post on the forum–we’ll get you set up to finish the project on Trello.
